To some people this mountain is very familiar. It’s just behind the town of Canmore. When you walk down the street, you see charming shops inviting the shoppers to make a small purchase. Pathways throughout the town are full of enthusiastic tourists who want to capture Canmore’s beauty through its outdoors. In my painting, I have captured the majestic mountains and tucked away is a place we would all love to escape to. The dog is playing with the ducks on the water and the fog is moving away to clear up the field. Even in the summer, there is a chill in the air until the sun warms up the day.
